Oil Horse Brewing Company

Oil Horse Brewery serves handcrafted gluten reduced beers and provides a welcoming atmosphere for everybody. The brewery was founded and is operated by Jack Buttram and John Oblesbee. Each of the owners play an intricate part in the brewing and serving of each beer. When visiting, we recommend trying their “1877” beer, which is an Irish Red beer. It is dedicated to their building, which was one of the only surviving buildings after a massive fire in 1877 that destroyed most of their downtown in Longview. The brewery also has multiple events throughout the year, so check out their events calendar before stopping in! The brewery is located close to the Longview World of Wonders and Gregg County Historical Museum.
